Dissertation/Thesis Research:: Sixty Years of Forest Cover Change in the Midland, KS USGS Quadrangle
- Using object-oriented classification techniques to extract forest cover from historic airphotos: 1941, 1954, 1966, 1976, 1991, 2002
- Applying landscape metrics analysis to look at the changing size and shape of forest cover
- Rendering still and animated 3D visualizations of the forest cover through time
