Specialty: Analytical water chemistry and water-quality modeling
Background: She earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering (1999) and a M.S. in Environmental Engineering (2001) from the University of Kansas. She is responsible for performing a full range of professional duties in the area of water quality, including the collection and analysis of water samples from streams, reservoirs, and wetlands in the Central Plains, and reservoir modeling.
Current research interests: Examine water-quality problems (especially taste and odor problems in eutrophic water-supply reservoirs) in the Central Plains region and explore water-quality modeling techniques to be used in the water-quality management of this region.
