Background: Ed Martinko earned his M.A. in Physiology from the University of Colorado in 1970. He earned his Ph.D. in Entomology (Ecology) from the University of Kansas in 1976.
Current research interests: Remote sensing of natural resources, insect community ecology, landscape analysis and characterization, linking remote sensing, land use, and carbon sequestration
